Day 10 Mourne Mountains Tour

Apologies for no post yesterday as we did not get back from the presentations until late and yes we were  too tired.

Colene and Michael welcomed Aileen and Lyndsay Perrin to Belfast on Monday afternoon. As they had been flying for about 30 hours, it was basically have a welcome drink, something to eat and off to bed.

Tuesday Aileen and Lyndsay did the Black Cab Tour and it was a big eye opener for them.  They then picked Colene up from the Hilton at 12,30, well actually she was running late and it was 12.40 as she had hit the shops yet again.  The taxi dropped them at the bowling club club and enjoyed the bowls in brilliant sunshine.

After the presentation, everyone went back to hotel, had dinner and again an early night.

Wednesday saw a full day tour of the Mourne Mountains a truly wonderful natural experience which included visiting St Patrick's grave. He is the guy who drove snakes out of Ireland. They had lunch at a beautiful seaside resort of Newcastle. Also included in the tour was a visit to 2 medieval castles and a beautiful park called Silent Valley. Then back to Belfast for the Closing Dinner.

Tomorrow sees the 4 Aussies pack  their bags and leave sunny Ireland for Barcelona, where the weather is expected to be about 25 degrees.

Oh Forgot to say Happy Birthday Shelley.....Cheers we had a drink for you!
